Fisher-Price Wild Western Town
Summary |
Wild Western Town is a scavenger-hunt style program for children interested in a western "shoot 'em up" theme. In this adventure, Bandit Bob stole nine gold bars from the bank and hid them around town. Sheriff Sassafras and Deputy P.D. need help to find all the gold and put Bandit Bob behind bars. Once that's done, players are rewarded with a printable Deputy's Certificate and Deputy Badge. |
Educational
Wild Western Town teaches problem solving, reading, creativity, and mouse manipulation, but mostly it's just plain fun. There's more educational value for the younger child; older children (ages 6-7 and up) will zip through it, but have fun with it nonetheless. |
Fun Factor |
Wild Western Town is a load of fun for the kids. I even found myself laughing out loud a few times! With seven play areas in addition to the search for the lost gold bars, players have plenty to keep them busy. |
Lasting Value |
Numerous activities are scattered all over town. Children may find themselves designing a Wanted Poster, firing the town cannon, or singing western songs. There's enough variety to keep children busy each time they visit Wild Western Town. |
Quality |
The animations and music are well done. The program flows smoothly--my sons had no difficulty jumping right in and figuring out what to do. They especially liked the barrel boot and the firing of the cannon; not politically-correct activities these days, but fun! |
Saddle up for some rootin' tootin' fun in Great Adventures by Fisher-Price Wild Western Town. Seven fantastic play areas let children blaze a new trail of adventure with every visit. Fun activities, toe-tappin' western tunes and a hunt for the outlaw Bandit Bob will keep young whippersnappers busy for hours.
