Summary

 Freddi Fish 4 is the latest installment in the Freddi Fish adventure series. Like its predecessors it is a cute story with very well done animations and a nicely integrated story line. Children must help Freddi and Luther solve a problem - a classic good guys vs. bad guys story. Your child will learn how to solve a larger problem by solving a variety of smaller problems, requiring a variety of problem solving, memory and reasoning skills.

 Be sure to look at the Parents Guide (it's in the booklet in the jewelcase). You'll find several fun and educational activities to do with your young child. Your child will practice logical thinking and problem solving skills. They will have to figure out a logical sequence of events as they develop their memory skills. Along the way, your child will find a few puzzles/games to do and a science fact or two.

Fun Factor

 Freddi Fish 4 is very cute, filled with many animations that are different each time your child encounters them. There are hidden objects, nice sound effects and cute critters. Younger children will wander around and entertain themselves by just clicking and watching. Older children can figure out the right sequence of events and feel successful when their plan works out right.

Lasting Value

 Every time the game is played, things change so your child will have a different experience. There are many different animations so your child can spend many hours before s/he sees all of the different sequences. And there are many paths so that it will take a child a while to traverse the entire game. For the activities, there are different levels so your child can continue to be challenged as they learn.

Quality

 Overall, the game is very well done - the visual images are beautiful and the performance is quite good. It is more of an interactive story than a game. Like the other Freddi Fish titles, the nice ending will make children feel good.
