Most school districts nationally use some kind of online learning to help students make up credit in classes they failed .
Furthermore, the THE Journal in January 2016 published an article, “Struggling Students Motivate Districts to Add Online Blended Learning”. The article cited a survey that found that online learning was so desirable for struggling students that “… more than nine in 10 districts (92 percent) fund their online and blended programs through their own budgets, while state funding is available to only about a quarter of respondent districts (24 percent)”.
