IRVINE, Calif., March 6, 1998 -- Seychelle Environmental Technologies, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: SYEV) has announced that it will be introducing to the U.S and foreign markets a portable filtration bottle used in conjunction with a standard baby bottle that filters and purifies water containing heavy metals like lead, aluminum, copper, cadmium and mercury; toxic chemicals from industry and agricultural use like pesticides, herbicides, Trihalomethane and other hydrocarbons; and even cryptosporidium and giardia as the water passes cleanly into the baby bottle. This technology will help to reduce infant mortality rates and cases of dysentery in infants worldwide.

Seychelle's new biocide, Steri-chelle, can be used in conjunction with the portable water filters in areas where water has not been disinfected. It is proven to kill bacteria, amoebic cysts, and spores.

Seychelle develops and manufactures products in four primary areas:

1. Water Filtration

2. Sanitation/Biocides

3. Air Filters

4. Point of entry products

Seychelle Environmental Technology is a company with a conscience committed to developing products that solve the contamination or the pollution of our environment. The Seychelle portable water filter has been tested to reduce trihalomethanes up to 99.80%, Cryptosporidium up to 99.9% and Giardia up to 99.9%. It develops products that help assure a better standard of life. Seychelle water filtration products are the one of the most tested products of their kind in the world, using EPA and ANSI/NSF protocols. Their primary goal is to make water safe to drink that is contaminated from any of the five areas of drinking water concerns such as suspended pollutants, microbiological, toxic chemicals from industry and agriculture, heavy metals such as lead, copper, mercury, and radiological contaminants.

Seychelle products are sold worldwide through retail outlets and governmental contracts. Test results are available upon request.
