We have developed a rating plan for our articles and websites to help busy parents find the best, most pertinent and helpful information for them and their children.
First, all of the articles and websites listed here at KidSource OnLine are good, informative and timely. A low rating does NOT mean that these articles or sites aren't of value. We don't list such articles or sites.
Our ratings: 5-staris a Must See by All Parents to
Use as Reference Material Only
3-star ratings
- will be of great interest to all parents
- are a "must-read", especially if you only have time to read 1 or 2 articles or website pages
- are ones that you'll come back to again and again
- are the most popular and well read (or visited) here at KidSource - for the reasons listed above
are given to those articles and websites that
1-star ratings
- will be of great interest to a select set of parents - i.e. those primarily interested in gifted and talented students or learning disabilities, or some other special topic
- if don't have time to read them on this visit, you'll want to read soon as you can. Bookmark these articles (or sites) for your next visit.
2-star ratings
- have good information for a specific or narrow interest or need
- are often used as future reference information - read them (or visit them) when you need to
and 4-star ratings
fall in between these categories.
Our Safety articles and Product Recall notices do not have these ratings. We feel that all of these articles are important for parents to look at. The Safety articles are broken out by category to make it easier for parents to review and within a category, they are organized alphabetically. Our Product Recall notices are organized by date to make it easier to see what's been recalled since your last visit.
