Hands On Children's Museum of Olympia, Washington is an interesting place for kids 10 years old and under. Lots of interesting info about the sea life in Puget sound.

- USGS/Cascades Volcano Observatory provides a wealth of information about volcanoes. It's an ideal site for your children to research their next science project at.
- The Froggy Page Does your child like frogs or other amphibious creatures? Then visit this site.
- The U.S. National Park Service has a great site to find all kinds of information about our parks. View by name, state, region or theme.
- Thomas Jefferson is a great site if you child (or you!) is interested in the U.S. Constitution or what is happening in Congress. The Congressional Record is here plus lots of info about other government bodies, documents and legislation.
- NASA's K-12 Internet Initiative provides support and services for schools, teachers and students to fully utilize the Internet. Our favorite areas are the "Online from Jupiter" and "Live from the Hubble Space Telescope". Check out the daily updates, especially the one about NASA's Galileo spacecraft.
- San Francisco's Exploratorium online site. A collection of electronic exhibits and resources for teachers, students and science enthusiasts! Worth a visit
