- This schedule is for high-risk infants (those whose mothers have tested positive for hepatitis B.)
These infants should receive hepatitis B immune globulin at or shortly after the first vaccine dose. Infants
not at high risk also should be vaccinated against hepatitis B. Check with your doctor for the appropriate
schedule.
- May not be required, depending on type of vaccine. Check with your doctor.
- Given at 12, 15, or 18 months, depending on type of vaccine. Check with your doctor.
- Where required by public health authorities for school entry. Otherwise: 11-12 years. Check with your doctor.
